Terms of Service

Lloyd is a personal AI assistant operated by Parry Technology and Media LLC ("Lloyd", "we", "us"). By creating a Lloyd account, signing in, sending Lloyd a message, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lloyd.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use Lloyd. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the contact information you provide belongs to you.

You're responsible for keeping your verified channels accurate and for safeguarding access to your email and phones. Lloyd uses verified channels to authenticate you, so anyone with access to a verified channel may be able to access your account.

When you provide a phone number and consent at sign-up or on the dashboard, you authorize Lloyd to send and receive SMS messages related to your account, including verification codes and the assistant's responses to your messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

• Reply STOP at any time to opt out from a particular number.
• Reply HELP for help, or email hello@lloyd.example.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You agree not to use Lloyd to:

• Violate any law or third-party rights.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or content that you do not have rights to send.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or entity, including Lloyd.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or overload the service.
• Generate or transmit content that exploits minors, contains malware, or violates the policies of our messaging carriers (Twilio, WhatsApp) or AI model providers.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and removal of your phone numbers from our messaging system.

You retain rights to messages you send Lloyd. By sending a message, you grant Lloyd a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process the message and Lloyd's response to provide the service to you, including persisting them as part of your account memory.

You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@lloyd.example. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if continuing to provide service is not commercially reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (Acceptable Use, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law).

Lloyd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The assistant may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable responses. Do not rely on Lloyd for medical, legal, or financial advice. Verify important information independently.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lloyd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the service. Lloyd's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US $100.

You agree to defend and indemnify Lloyd against any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or at sign-in. Your continued use of Lloyd after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
