Privacy Policy

Who we are

Lloyd is a personal AI assistant operated by Parry Technology and Media LLC ("Lloyd", "we", "us"), accessible by SMS, WhatsApp, and email. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you sign up, communicate with Lloyd, or visit our website.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email addresses, and phone numbers, including any additional channels you add to your account, plus your timezone.
  • Verification records. Verification timestamps for each channel and audit records of consent (the time, IP, and user agent at sign-up).
  • Messages. The content of messages you send to Lloyd and Lloyd's responses, on every channel. We use these to operate the assistant and to maintain a persistent memory tied to your account.
  • Technical data. Log data (timestamps, IP, user agent) when you use the website and when messages are received via Twilio, WhatsApp, or our email provider.

How we use information

  • To operate Lloyd and respond to your messages.
  • To send you transactional messages: account verification, magic login links, and assistant responses.
  • To prevent abuse, secure the service, and meet legal duties.
  • To improve the product (in aggregate or de-identified form). We do not sell your data.

SMS program details

When you provide a phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Lloyd related to your account, including verification codes and assistant responses you initiate. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • STOP — Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You will receive a confirmation, and we will stop sending messages to that number.
  • HELP — Reply HELP for help. You can also email hello@lloyd.example.
  • We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

How we share information

We use service providers ("processors") to operate Lloyd. These include:

  • Twilio — to send and receive SMS / RCS / WhatsApp.
  • Resend — to send and receive email.
  • Neon — managed PostgreSQL for account and message data.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) — to generate assistant responses. Message content is sent to these providers during inference and is not used by them for model training under our enterprise terms.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of Lloyd or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to this policy).

Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Messages and memory are retained as long as needed to provide the assistant. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your account, channels, sessions, and message memory within 30 days, except as required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices

  • Access and update — You can view and update your profile and channels from your account dashboard.
  • Delete — Email hello@lloyd.example from a verified channel to request deletion.
  • Stop SMS — Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further SMS at that number.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, encryption at rest, principle of least privilege). No method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Lloyd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or at sign-in. The "effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
